Forsaken World is an MMO developed by Perfect World Beijing, it has been released in China soon to be released in North America and certain countries. Forsaken World is heavily based on world mythology, and is set in the mythical world of Eyrda(Grando Mundo in China).

The game was released to Open Beta on March 9, 2011. The 4th stage began on February 23, 2011. There was a character wipe from all Closed Betas done with the release of Open Beta. On March 7th the servers were taken down until the morning of March 9th in order to patch and update.

Races and Classes Edit

Forsaken World features 5 races, each with one or more exclusive classes.

The Mortals

A mortal 's ability to adapt, potential to learn and charisma have led this race to assume a leadership position

amongst all races of Eyrda. After Shyntola was broken, mortals sailed to Ousta with the other races. They are especially close to the Dwarves .

mortals worship the god Vyda, who stands for wisdom and soul. After the birth of the mortals, Vyda put them in a remote western land of Ousta. It seemed that Vyda did not care for the mortals, but in actuality Vyda changed his appearance to walk among the mortals teaching them skills and the art of war. As a result of Vydas' efforts, the mortals inherited his character and creativity. When war breaks out, the mortals are the first to assemble and lead the other races to defeat their foe.

Among the mortals is the great Hossinger Apelio, the creator of the Lionheart Knights and other great legends such at Wote Malong and L'ygch.

The mortals have a history of showing great heroism in dire times, making them the strongest of allies.

Class Options: Warrior , Assassin , Mage and Priest .

The Kindred

The Kindred have been extraordinary since the first born; they were created out of love. The most beautiful lad

y in Eyrda, the demi-goddess, Shylia, and the noble mortal, Herghevid, were the perfect couple. However, they were constantly tortured by time. When Herghevid was old and facing death, Shylia found a way for them to live together forever; the Mythic Embrace. She poured her blood, which contained the essence of life, into Herghevid’s body, thereby giving him immortality. Their offspring propagated the land with Kindred.

The Kindred are very sensitive; they inherited their ancestors character, willing to give anything for love. Kindred descend from mortals, this is the reason why most would never attack mortals . But some mortals covet their immortal life, powerful physique and perfect appearance – this jealousy drives the races apart. In the world of Eyrda, the Kindred are the most isolated and arrogant, but also the most self-abased race.

The Elves

Elves are the most beautiful race in the world of Eyrda. They are nature's darlings and live deep in the forests filled with majestic trees and clear spring water. Servants of the goddes Illyfue, they inherited Illyfue's lordly

manner and therefore look down upon the races who they find lacking in beauty, especially the muscular Dwarves . In the war of resistance, Elves and Stonemen formed the Union of the Woods, supported each other, and became close battle companions.

Elves have enough talent to be arrogant about; they are elegant, clever and beautiful. In the world or Eyrda, there isn't a nobler race than the Elves. Their affinities to nature and pious faith to the gods make them talented fighters.

Class Options: Warrior , Bard , Priest .

Stonemen

In the world of Eyrda, Stonemen are the strongest and bravest race.

Stonemen are a fearless race, proud of their strong bodies and tough skin. Whenever war breaks out, Stonemen always rush to the front lines. Their giant bodies reassure their allies and raise the morale of any

army they fight with. Stonemen are not only natural born warriors but they are also good at smithing, especially casting weapons. Powerful arms are the best tools a smith could ask for.

Stonemen have a close connection with other races. With the Elves they created Union of the Woods. Meanwhile, the human Lionheart Knights joined them as well. Because they and the Dwarves worship the same god, Tytan, the two races maintain close ties. "Where there are Stonemen, other races have no danger." This sentence may be the best explanation of the relationship the Stonemen have with the rest of Eyrda's inhabitants.

The Stonemen race is entirely male. Every hundred years, they will hold a special ceremony around a store of giant stones. After the ceremony, the outer layer of giant stones will fade away, and a newborn Stonemen walk into the world for the first time.

The Dwarves

Dwarves are the oldest race of Eryda and they also are the most technologically advanced. They are short, have tough, thick skin, and are full of stamina. Wielding deft hands and excellent wisdom, digging and smithing

are their strong points. Inventions of all kinds, especially the fine machines, are their best tools.

Industrious and silent, Dwarves are often ignored, but if anyone wants to challenge a Dwarf should consider their opponent. Though they are not good at learning magic, their excellent machinery makes them no weaker than any of the other races.

In the world of Eyrda, Dwarves are the most industrious race, so they have a close connection with Humans , what are also highly creative. But because of their burly appearance, Elves scorn the Dwarves.
